What does “Reality-Based” self-defense mean exactly? It means we're not a traditional martial arts school. We don’t wear uniforms, bow, or break boards. Instead, we focus on real-world scenarios where your safety—and your life—could be at stake.
In the real world, threats don’t come with rules. There’s no referee, no bell, and no time to prepare. Whether you're out with your family or at home during a break-in, the question is: Are you ready to respond effectively?
At Strength 4 Combat, we train you to handle these situations with practical, scenario-based instruction designed to build real confidence and ability. Our program is structured into four core areas:
Hand-to-Hand Combat: Both offensive and defensive tactics tailored for real-world confrontations.
Firearms Training: Gun threat disarms, defensive shooting, concealed carry certification, and live-fire exercises to prepare you for armed threats.
Edged Weapons - Defense & Offense: Training to defend against knife attacks and apply tactical knife techniques if necessary.
Functional Fitness: Movement and conditioning designed to support combat readiness and simulate real encounters.
Our approach is immersive. We don’t just teach techniques—we put you in high-pressure simulations where your natural fight, flight, or freeze instincts are tested. Through stress and aggression drills, we help you develop the ability to act decisively under duress.
Our primary system is HaganaH, an Israeli reality-based combat system. HaganaH is the next evolution of Krav Maga, integrating not only defensive tactics but also offensive strategies—because in real self-defense, once the initial threat is neutralized, you must fight back to ensure your safety.
We offer seminars, private training sessions, and group classes. Seminars typically run three hours and serve as both an introduction to our training and an evaluation for potential students. Group classes are intended as ongoing practice to maintain and refine your skills.
Please note: This training isn’t for everyone. It’s demanding. It requires commitment, repetition, and the willingness to learn through failure.
